You don’t have a motivation problem. You have a 6 a.m. problem.
That first minute after the alarm — before your feet touch the floor — sets the tone for the whole day. And for most of us it’s filled with dread, a to-do list, and a familiar inner voice whispering “you’re already behind.”
Affilist was built for exactly that minute.
Three mornings this was built for
Illustrative scenarios, not customer reviews. Affilist is young, and we only quote real people with their permission.
2:30 p.m. · before a night shift
The nurse
Imagine the alarm going off while the rest of the street is at work. Instead of a siren, it’s your own voice from a good day: “You’ve done this shift a hundred times. One patient, one task, one breath.” The words are yours, so there’s nobody to argue with.
Picture waking up, remembering, and the first sound of the day being you, recorded on a steadier evening: “It’s over, and you’re still here. Today you only have to do the morning.” Not advice from a stranger. Your own voice, on your side, before the phone gets a chance.
No alarm here, just a phone in one hand and a baby in the other. Imagine a playlist you recorded on a rested afternoon, one tap away: “This feed will end. Every single one so far has ended.” Your calm self talking your tired self through it.
Yes. Affilist uses Apple's AlarmKit to ring a real wake-up alarm with your own recorded voice — your wake-up affirmations or your recorded Manifesto — and it breaks through silent mode so you actually hear it. Read our full guide: how to wake up to your own affirmations, or browse all our wake-up alarm guides.
Do affirmations actually work?
Affirmations are a self-talk practice: hearing supportive statements in your own voice, consistently, can help you focus on who you're becoming — see why your own voice makes them more effective. Affilist is a wellness and self-improvement tool, not medical or psychological treatment.
How is Affilist different from I am, Mantra, ThinkUp or Innertune?
Three things, per each app's own App Store listing: the alarm is a real AlarmKit system alarm that rings with your recording through silent mode; AI writes affirmations for what you tell it, in seven languages; and it's built around the wake-up minute rather than a big catalogue. The others have bigger libraries, widgets or music, and some are cheaper. We compared them honestly, with dates: Affilist vs other affirmation apps.
Is my voice data private?
Your voice recordings and AI-generated audio stay on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. No account or email is required. Text is sent to our AI providers only with your explicit in-app permission, and only to deliver the feature you asked for. See our Privacy Policy.
What languages does Affilist support?
Seven: English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese — the interface, the AI that writes your affirmations, and the voices.
How much does Affilist cost?
Free includes 15 affirmations, 5 recordings in your own voice, 1 playlist and 10 AI generations — plus the wake-up alarms, the Manifesto and all 7 languages. Premium ($6.99 a week or $49.99 a year, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers) unlocks unlimited affirmations, recordings, playlists and AI generations.
Does Affilist work offline?
Playback, your recordings and the wake-up alarms work without a connection — everything is stored on your iPhone. Only writing new affirmations with AI and generating AI voices need internet.
Do I need an account?
No. Affilist works under an anonymous identifier — no sign-up, no email, no password.
Which iPhone and iOS version do I need?
Affilist requires iOS 26 or later, because the wake-up alarm is built on Apple's AlarmKit, which arrived with iOS 26. It's an iPhone app; there is no Android, iPad-specific or Apple Watch version yet. If you're on an older iOS, the App Store will tell you before you download. What AlarmKit is and why it matters.
Can I use Affilist for manifestation?
In one specific way: you write a Manifesto — one page about who you're becoming — record it in your own voice, and wake up to it every morning as your alarm. That's what "manifest with your own voice" means here. There are no vision boards or abundance scripts, and no promised outcomes: it's a daily self-talk practice. How to write a personal Manifesto.
