Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Affilist iOS app (the "App") and the website affilist.app. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The Service
Affilist lets you create, record, and play personalized affirmations and a long-form personal Manifesto, with playlists, AI-assisted generation, achievements, reminders, and wake-up alarms that can ring with your own recorded voice. The App is available in multiple languages.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App.
3. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service (the "Licensed Application End User License Agreement").
4. Subscriptions, Free Trials, and Billing
Affilist offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (e.g., weekly and yearly plans) that unlock premium features.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Free trials (where offered) convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Trial eligibility and duration are determined by Apple and shown in the App before purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Managing/canceling: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
- Free tier: Without a subscription, the App remains usable with certain limits (e.g., number of affirmations, recordings, playlists, and AI generations).
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to the App Store policies. We generally cannot issue refunds directly.
Prices and plan details are shown in the App and may change; changes do not affect an active billing period.
5. User Content
- You retain ownership of the content you create (affirmation text, Manifesto, and voice recordings).
- Your voice recordings are stored on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
- The text you submit for AI generation or voice synthesis is processed by our providers solely to deliver the requested feature (see the Privacy Policy).
- You are responsible for the content you create and must not use the App to create unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
6. AI-Generated Content
The App can generate affirmation text and synthetic voice audio using third-party AI. AI output may be inaccurate or imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing content before relying on it.
7. Not Medical or Mental-Health Advice
Affilist is a self-improvement and wellness tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or mental-health advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for professional care. If you are experiencing a crisis or need help, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law;
- interfere with or disrupt the App or its providers;
- use the App to violate any law or third-party right.
9. Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services (Apple, Google/Firebase, ElevenLabs, RevenueCat). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice within the App or on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Apple App Store Additional Terms
This App is licensed, not sold. The Apple-standard End User License Agreement (Licensed Application EULA) applies. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and is not a party to these Terms, but is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce them.
